Time Tracking
Is anyone tracking/logging their time and adding it to the cost of enforcement when placing liens on properties or invoicing property owners for your time? I'd love input if you are using a particular fee for this or just using your salaries and benefits.rnrnThanks for any input ya'll have on this in advanced.

Apr. 9, 2026I bill my time during an active abatement to the project to add to the lien on the property. I just use my normal hourly pay to come up with that cost. rnWe are working to try and come up with a fee to adopt into the fee schedule for the opening of a case and to charge that rate instead of my normal salary.

Mar. 30, 2026We also add on the labor spent on abatements. We include both benefits and salaries in determining the labor cost.

Mar. 26, 2026Yes! When I have to perform an abatement, as soon as we get the judgement, I start tracking my time spent on it using a spreadsheet and it is added to the total cost of the lien, we bill them for my "fully loaded" wages.
